Cause & Effect, the latest release from Adventures in Odyssey is full of mysterious disappearances, hilarious radio shows that have ‘guest appearances’, clocks that can’t keep time and are linked to circumstances that happened a long time ago. Each episode drives home great morals and leaves listeners with morsels of truth to take away from the stories. Cause & Effect features 12 new stories including: The Mystery of the Clock Tower {be sure your sin will find you out}, A Thankstaking Story {being thankful}, Grandma’s Christmas Visit {the true meaning of Christmas}, the Owlnapping {only God has the true power}, and An Agreeable Nanny {responsibility}.
My Thoughts
I know I’ve said it before, but Adventures in Odyssey are something that our entire family enjoys {mom and dad included!}. We’ve been on a tv fast over the last few weeks and the disks arrived just in time. When Cause & Effect arrived in our mailbox, the kids couldn’t wait to get in the van and start listening. About 1/2 hour into ‘The Mystery of the Clock Tower’, the first adventure on the cd, McKenna just sat in the backseat and said, “This is the most exciting Adventures in Odyssey EVER!”.
That pretty much sums up how we feel about the new adventures ~ we love them!

I Love love love these radio shows. I have to order some disks for the kids I think for Christmas. I have been listening to them for years! Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteWe love these!! Sometimes we listen to them online, while we're cleaning the house. It's the only time no one complains about cleaning. :) We have to get more this year. I'm a bit tired of listening to the same ones, in the car, over and over again. :)
ReplyDeletehehe love it! Nicia loves this! I will have to look into some of them for Sammy soon :-)
