I was really hoping to get completely caught up this week, since I was a little behind last week in my reading. As of tonight I am finishing up Isaiah…meaning I’m still a little behind.
Excuses? Yup. I got some. We went camping and I did bring my Bible along to read, but ended up focusing more on keeping Kaleb from going face first into the fire pit instead.
I’m ok with that {grins}.
Laurianna is still doing a great job keeping up with her reading and her readings have been a part of her daily school routine {which she rather likes}. As for me…this week I’m going to be spending my free time reading and catching up. Being out of Psalms is making the reading much easier, so I’m hoping it will actually go much more quickly.

My friend challenged me about 3-4 weeks ago. I'm in 2 kings... (not sure which week we are on). And its been a challenge. Im about 4 days behind right now. But how cool. We've been sitting down and discussing the weekly reading about 1 x a week and pointing out what has been standing out to us which challenges me to do more than speed read. Its been a good habit to get into. (although I think a 180 day plan would be more reasonable) its almost been a time fast to give God the time to read it. And I've been blessed picking up on more connections when reading it so fast because things are still fresh from the read a few days ago.
