I just wanted to let you know that I am showing incredible restraint…but it is soon to be pushed aside.
Being alone with 4 kids all day while you are gone on a business trip ~ and knowing that there is a rather LARGE bag of peanut M&M’s hidden {by you} in our closet, well…
Let’s just say that there is a very good chance that the bag might not be so large upon your return. Leaving chocolate in the vicinity of a semi-stressed out mom probably wasn’t the best idea.
Thought you should know.
{Hugs and kisses…}
Why do our husbands torture us so. I love this post xxx
ReplyDeleteNot just regular, old, M&M's, but PEANUT M&M??!! I wouldn't be able to lastas long as you have!
ReplyDeleteDear Rick ~ you may as well kiss those M&M's goodbye because certain friends, who might be stopping by for a visit, now know about said bag of M&M's. :)
ReplyDeletePretty sure that bag would be gone within the first day if it was my in hubby's closet... :)
ReplyDelete[laughing] If those were peanut butter M&Ms, well... yeah. That bag would be consumed forthwith.

"Oh, honey. I'm sorry. I thought you left those for me. Because you love me. And, you knew how stressed out I would be with the kids, alone, while you were away, sleeping in a hotel, enjoying some restaurants, and alone time. Sorry about that, my bad.";)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the M&M's while I was over today ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL! My husband is out of town too. I tend to channel my stress into projects. Every time he comes home something new is painted and furniture is rearranged. He always jokes that he is not sure he has the right house.
ReplyDeleteI hate when I find a whole stash of chocolate. Hasn't my hubby figured out...um hello...I will eat it! I know my figure has it figured out! Ha!
