I’ve been a slacker. I’ll admit it. Kaleb could be well on his way to diaper freedom if I just laid down the law and did it.
But I haven’t {and since he’s the last it just doesn’t bother me as much as the other kiddos}.
Kaleb has been very infatuated with swords and light sabers thanks to our Wii Resort game, so today while we were at Target I picked up one to use as a special ‘gift’ ~ if he uses the potty.
How effective will it be? We’ll see, but he did run right to his room and put on underwear the moment we got home.
Of course, HOW he put it on is probably important to note…
Might need to work on a few things…
LOL oo man this cracked me up!! But how cute is the smile on his face! He is totally a little jokester!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Well I have one that is half potty-trained. I've just got to figure out what will inspire her to totally be done with diapers.
ReplyDeleteOh, when you get there, the joy, the freedom, the excitement! Our little girl just finished potty-training, and now, I have no one in diapers (until our next baby arrives in Aug.)! It is sooooooooo nice! I do still put a diaper on her at night, but she has been keeping dry at nights too, so I may soon stop that.
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's too funny!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love the picture!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest (Also Caleb but with a C) is protesting potty training too! Of course, he's my youngest, so I haven't been all that strict about it. I think part of me was just hoping he'd watch his other brothers and sisters and just "get it." So much for that!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! That is LOL funny!
Best of luck!

I did not think that potty training would be as hard as it was. But once it happened, it happened fast. He'll get there soon!
ReplyDeleteOh this makes me feel better. My son Dylan is about the same age as Kaleb. Dylan has no interest in the potty. I have promised him everything and still nothing. He loves race car. I bought some, told him if uses the potty he can have 1....nothing...lol. I have a baby #2 coming in Oct. Hopefully I can get him to use the potty before the baby.
