Proper Word Use Works Every Time

As I was pulling the last of our schoolwork together for the morning, Zachary came into the kitchen holding his Leapster.

“Mom. Is it okay if I sit in the living room for a little bit and play my Leapster? It has educational games on it.”

My response?

“Absolutely! Go tell the girls to get theirs out and sit on the couch to play.”

I’m thinking if my kindergartener can use the word ‘educational’ appropriately in a sentence, he’s due for a little free time. Am I right?

  3. leapster is as cool as it gets around here. my kids have no idea what they are missing by not having gaming stations or hand-helds. they think getting a little math crash course is all part of the fun:0)

Looks like I should've had the grandparents get us Leapsters for Christmas! Next year... Santa's making a note.
