For instance, I made a great list on Monday of all the things that REALLY needed to be done this week before I head out for the weekend ~ the blog posts that I have due for other sites, school stuff that needed to be made, reviews I have coming up, etc... I even numbered my list in order of priority and based on when it was due.
At the end of the day I'd somehow managed to do number 4 and 10 on my list {'cause I'm apparently not able to go in numerical order...}. So I renumbered my list and then I lost it.
Which is really helpful when you are trying to follow a list, you know.
I made a new list on nicer paper and came up with a better organizing scheme, got online to do some of the stuff that was on the list and then...
- got distracted by these cute little fish
- realized I still haven't mailed my camera off {ahem}
- forgot to add 'packing' to my list
- found out Chic-fil-A has peppermint shakes again {thanks to a tweet that someone sent me}
I'm not as organized as you all think.
Good to know I'm not alone!
ReplyDeleteI've had a list every day this week. Today has been the most pitiful for crossing things off! Still working at it, though.
ReplyDeletePeppermint shakes.....mercy.
ReplyDeleteLOL! The same thing happens to me all of the time.
ReplyDeleteI think we all have those moments. I have started using my daily calendar and writing things I want to get done each day and that way the list doesn't seem so long. Have a great weekend!!!!
ReplyDeletegreat, now I'm distracted by the cute little fish!
ReplyDeleteI am great at making lists and try to follow them, but I too am easily distracted.
ReplyDeleteI'll start one task and then get side tracked...well sounds like you completely understand!
Have a great weekend!
The fact that I'm sitting here reading this when I have workboxes to fill and kids still up at 9PM tells you just how distracted I am! Glad to know I'm in good company.
