Sometime this afternoon I'm heading a few hours away to enjoy a weekend retreat with the ladies from our church.
Staying up late.
Eating a meal without having to cut anyone's food or break up a fight.
Possibly shopping without interruption.
And spending some time with God....and I can't wait to see what He has in store for me.
Hi there! I found your blog through the book challenge at Callapidder Days. I've especially enjoyed your homeschool blog, too. I've just started homeschooling my little girl this year.
ReplyDeleteI don't mean to be nosey, but did you by any chance attend college at EU? You look just like a girl who was on my floor one year--and, of course you have the same name:)
Small world, huh? We both lived in Walther your first semester, I think. I was in the RA suite (Karlene was the RA). If I remember correctly, you once rode to Arkansas (where I'm from) on a weekend break with my family. I left EU after that semester, but still keep in touch with a few friends from there.
ReplyDeletelike the new look, jo!
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend away at the retreat was fun and refreshing.
i am sooooo envious!!! ok, im not supposed to covet they neighbors house, but i wish i was you this weekend!
ReplyDeleteooo I hope you had fun!!
ReplyDeleteI'm particularly jealous of the not having to cut anyone's food! Or get up every 5 seconds to get someone some more milk or a towel or ketchup or whatever. Wow - that would be great. I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDelete...and watching crappy commercials on the laptop!!!
ReplyDelete.....catching women falling off chairs......
eating copious amounts of chocolate...
being exceptionally naughty...hmmmm
sounds like fun??!
Oh, it sounds like heaven to me!
