We took a trip to the pool yesterday, which quickly took a turn for the not-so-fun.
Suffice it to say, it involved one of our children, a behavior issue, and although it wasn't intentional, an unpleasant ending for me. And I am serious when I say that labor and delivery never felt as miserable as this.
My toe is broken. And ever so pretty too. I took a picture of it just for memory's sake. And no, my toe is not freakishly longer than my big toe...go figure.
Any suggestions on how to catch the kids when I can hardly walk?
Ouch! That really does look painful. I hope it heals quickly.

Oh no! Yikes! Hopefully no one else was hurt!
ReplyDeleteThat toe will be the source of discomfort for a while! I am speaking from experience on this one!
Sorry . . . no suggestions other than bribes!
Ouch, I broke my pinky toe at seaworld last year and it hurt like heck so, I feel your pain. Hope it gets better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteI say use the Monkey Backpacks (aka: leash) found at WalMart. I've discovered that you can put a sturdy clip on the end and hook them to numerous things. :)
ReplyDelete*Dear social services, I have only ever clipped my children to the stroller. Really.*
OUCH! I'm hurtin' for you as I look at that picture. And I will also attest that your toe indeed isn't "freakishly long" as one might assume from that picture. ;-) Hope it heals super-fast.
ReplyDeleteoh man, that stinks. boy, we'll just pray really hard that the kids see that you are in pain and try to help. hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThat looks horrible! No suggestion on catching the kids. Probably baby gates and lots of movies.
ReplyDeleteI pray you have a quick and easy recovery!
